PM And FinMin: We Are Not Increasing Taxes. We Could Have Economic Growth

The exchange rate could return below RON4.5 to the euro after the “calming and the clarifications on the political scene,” and the economy could return to growth in the second quarter. As far as fiscal legislation is concerned, the Government is not considering raising the income tax above 16%, but wants to implement a set of measures of fiscal relaxation.
