Romanian Authorities Caused Over RON3B In Losses To Budget Through Illegal Practices

Romanian central and local authorities in 2010 caused 3.2 billion lei (EUR735 million) in damage to the state budget by failing to collect certain income on time, using funds illegally, hiring personnel for positions not provided by the budget and breaching procurement policies.
