Romanian Laid Off Miners Stage Protest Calling For Severance Pay

Almost one hundred laid off workers in the mining sector protested Monday in front of the national coal company CNH Petrosani, disgruntled that they did not receive the third tranche of the severance pay they should have cashed by the end of 2011.
