The revenue growth forecasts included in the 2012 budget are too optimistic because those who worked on building the budget took a purely accounting approach to the job. The lack of transparency from the government and of a strategy to create new jobs make next year’s budget look unrealistic. This is the conclusion reached by the economists, businesspeople and analysts who attended the ZF Expert open editorial meeting on Wednesday.
